Burnt eyeball solutions?

Anyone know of any products out there (other than those lame goggles) that help keep the eye balls from getting cooked or any products that help after the fact?

Check out seaspecs.com They are sunglasses that float and have an excellent retention system. They don't look as goofy as some of the other goggles for water use I've seen. They even stay on pretty well during deep duck dives. A friend of mine let me try his and I was impressed. On my list of puchases before my next trip to Central America.

Have your friend pee on them. I hear it works wonders.

I used to have UV protected contacts. They don't have the nice shading effect of sunglasses but they protect you eyeballs while surfing. Unfortunately my current prescription does not offer UV protection/

Got some Oakley Water jackets a couple of years back they work pretty well when the air and water temps are warmer like right now but winter and spring they tend to fog up due to the big difference between air and water temp. I wore them in Peru for a couple of sessions when my eyeballs were super burnt and they stayed on even when getting pounded when duckdiving overhead waves.
They're pretty pricy but I was able to get mine on sale online for less then 100 bucks and they're super durable as well. I have them somewhere in my storage unit on the island I have to dig them out for this weekend as my eyes got scorched over that last swell.

Possible side effects include accidental hanging of oneself while jacking off though. Doc, you have to give the disclaimer if you're going to pimp the prescription.
