Xcel Wetsuits Men's 4/3 mm Infiniti Drylock Hooded Wetsuit

Does anyone use this suit? Seems like it'd be good for OR. I am looking for a comparison or opinion on it. I am using a psycho 2 and prefer the back zip but the 4/3 seems nice. I was told Patagonia is coming out w a 3mm hooded in the Fall.

Buy it at an oregon surf shop as opposed to online.

so does anyone rotate between a 5/4 and 4/3 hoodie depending on the time of year/ocean temps?

I am concerned about being too cold in a 4/3. Not so confident on all the high dollar suits being worth the cost - Patagonia, Matuse, etc. Any opinions?

Just get a 6.5., you'll never get cold, you'll get stronger, it'll last longer, and you'll never have to adjust to something different or make the wrong call.

Keep it simple stupid

I went 3/2 today...
Hoodless...
5/4/3 on Saturday...
But it was windy...
And dumping beachbreak...
It was chilly but not too bad...
Didn't really miss the hood...
Mostly regretted not wearing gloves...
Wore the 3/2 on Friday too...
Went bootyless...
Which was a mistake....

I use the 4/3 and the 5/4......Most of the time the 4/3...
I go through 2 of these suits a year....
The trade in value is why I rotate these suits.....
