love them. have 4 in rotation right now, all of them extremely good boards. Sounds like you got a sweet deal, 50 bucks for one of those is epic

from what i've found.. dhd or dean handley designs from aus, shapes boards for mick fanning and steph gilmore among others. the board i bought is one of 2 made for dean randazzo in 2002. google him if you want more info.

the board has a bunch of red spray paint on it, anyone know the best way to get it off with the least damage?

diluted acetone perhaps? turn it into a rad design? scrape the paint gently with a razor blade, could be super tedious though...

i've used goo gone to remove the glue left over from an unwanted tail pad... and to strip a deck clear of wax. i don't think there's any harm in it. probably be useful on the stubborn bits of paint that remain after you've got the majority of it off...

what about sanding it off, carefully? i sanded off a bad graphic off a board and then cleaned it up with a citrus based solvent.

i think i might try sanding a bit and see what happens. that may help where all those stickers were also. thanks guys.

Lightly sanding should work. I've used goo gone before, works well, just be sure to rinse your board off afterward to get rid of any residue left over from it.
