interesting as in I'd be interested in riding one...not that I'm serious, I have too many boards (and only ride two) and my wife is onto me sneaking new ones into the basement and doesn't believe the "I'm storing it for my bro" line any more. still, it's interesting.

It would be interesting to see you come up with a new line to hoodwink your wife's suspicions about the boards in the basement.

Hmmm...
Your wife is making me nervous about my wife...
Let's see...
Do you keep your boards organized or in a messy pile?
The messy pile works best fyi...
That way she can never tell which board is which...
Also, I store most of the boards in my shed, which locks...
"No...I don't have an extra key"
That works pretty good...
"He just gave it to me"...
"I've had that board forever"...
"You look pretty today!"...
These are all things that have worked...
I did just get a new 10'6" Becker tho...
Pretty hard to hide...
But when she asks I think I'll say...
"What's that? I think your phone is ringing?"
That should work.

Last year my bro gave me 4 of his boards and then he had a $700 credit down at Oakfoils so we co-customized one last board together with Wayne.

Now have eight and end up riding a different board just about everytime I go out. Still not sure which one is my fav.

I just had a great experience with Blackfern.

The shaper, Mike Hall, takes a lot of pride in his designs but ultimately he helped me make all the decisions. He was professional and considerate. The most amazing thing, though, was how fast I got it: I think it took like five days.

I've only ridden it twice, both in head-high, shorter period surf and it caught everything-- I didn't do so hot, but that's another story. I need more time on it before I can say more, but I'd definitely give him a call yourself.

Just wanted to update my post. I picked my board up yesterday from Michael at Blackfern and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I'll post back about how the things rides once i get the chance to get it in the water.
