What are you reading right now?

If you've had an especially good (or bad!) experience with a surf product or service (i.e. surfboard, wetsuit, surf camp, shaper, video, etc), share your opinion with the rest of us. Nobody really cares, but knock yourself out. Registration is required.

If you haven't read 'Holy Blood Holy Grail' yet go find that one Blue. That's where Dan Brown got his ideas, but, judging by your posts in other threads, I suspect you're already aware of it.

I abandoned reading 'Its the Crude Dude' by some canadian journalist. I couldn't take it even though she covered some John D. Rockefeller and other lessor known oil history.

Now I'm starting on 'America for Sale' by Jerome Corsi.

No, don't know of 'Holy Blood Holy Grail', thanks for the tip.

I love religious history, but not for the same reasons religious people like it. Interesting stuff, the hate groups it's created, the secrets and lies told by various churches...

I wish I could say that would free up some time - but not in my case.

By the time I have settled down enough to read (or have sex) I'm usually too drunk.

Honestly I can't remember the last book I read for pleasure - very sad. I'm slowly slipping into illiteracy - the poster child for the "dumbing down" of America.

I am a really fast reader...
Which irritates my wife who isn't...
I can also follow sporting events on TV...
While having sex...
This also seemed to irritate my wife...
So the TV is generally off...
At these times.

World War Z. It was much better than I was expecting. Obviously a thinly veiled commentary on the state of world affairs. Fast read, perfect bathroom book.
We might beome friends, in spite of the fact that we surf.

Winter's Bone.
Is written spare like a slightly filled in screenplay. I love vernacular stories of the modern rural south, meth teeth and all. Much like growing up in the coast range, but replace the snow with rain and mud.
I'll likely see the movie.
I digress
