If you like that try "Data Reduction and Error Analysis" by Philip Bevington whom you may recognize from other such classics like "Data Reduction and Error Analysis 2nd edition" or the prequel "Data Reduction and Error Analysis for Physical Sciences 1st Edition." Talk about suspense I can hardly put it down. I needed to have read it by yesterday.

Ron Paul, A Foreign Policy of Peace

Basically speeches of his in 12 terms of congress where he warns of foreign entanglements, burdening taxpayers with paying for a global empire, clandestine CIA ops, bogus foreign aid where we end up backing both sides of a conflict, and the ineffectiveness of congress. And I've only made it to 1994 so far.

I plowed through these 3 while in Peru between cervezas and surf.

Scar Tissue - Anthony Keidis

Awesome book, glued to it in Peru couldn't put down probably one of the best books I've read...

Into The Wild - Jon Kraukauer

Another good one, more detail ommited from the movie which was a good adaptation. That kid had issues, too bad he wasn't more prepared or he'd have lived to tell his story.

The Alchemist - Paulo Coehlo

A read good story by a good writer, that said it definetely didn't live up to the hype for me but I can see why some people love this book.

Tijuana Straights by Kem Nunn....another dark, gritty story of a surfer beyond his halcyon days of perpetual stoke and sunshine, barely holding on to some shred of hope that there will be a release from the despair that has become his life.

If you've managed to make it through any of his previous works, you are sure to enjoy this one, as well.

Ed Fladung's blog @ www.qualitypeoples.com

Stumbled to it out of pure curiosity, which is now forming into pure jealousy (seriously living the dream life). This dude has it all on lock. One of the best blog's out there for surf, art, traveling and everything in between.
Boardriding is about timing and style...It’s youthful, active, casual, and free flowing. There is no wrong way to ride a board. The goal is simply to learn, progress, improve, and give it your own interpretation.

Stick with Fountain Head. Atlas shrugged is like beating a dead horse after 20 pages. Better yet read Anthem. Gives the gist of the other two in a hundred pages.

Then if you're not a fascist by the end of it, good on ya.
