The Looming Tower: al Qaeda and the Road to 9/11
Lawrence Wright, 2007
Haven't gotten far yet. The FBI guy in charge of tracking Islamic extremists in the USA had 3 wives and kept 3 separate families. None of them knew about the others. Wonder if he was able to give his full attention to his job?

So....after all you guys' talk of The Road (Cormac McCarthy).....I read it today.
Eh...
It was.....good.
Very easy read. Emotionally....un-engaging for me. I can see how some of you would like it though.

Just finished The Host Pretty good for sci-fi. From the same author as the Twilight Saga. Stephenie Meyer's only other book. It is actually for adults. Slower than Twilight but the characters are really great.
Read the Twilight Saga twice in 2 weeks. I had resisted reading it for so long I gave in and it was worth the read. A little on the addicting side though. I have younger siblings and a bunch more of my family had already read it so I thought that I would. Maybe it is the Northwest setting with constant rain or the characters but it is pretty good and easy to connect with the characters but then again I am not that old. read the books don't just go to the movie. Stephenie Meyer has rocking playlists for each of the books that are really more of a soundtrack for them. They are on her website and you can even listen to them there.
