Just finished "Hitler's Holy Relics' by Sydney Kirkpatrick. Sounds fictional, but a true story. Still trying to get thru "Anne Rands "Atlas Shrugged and "TheForgotten Man" by Amity Shlaes. Lost my reading glasses awhile back though. Need to go to the eye Doc Occasionally read a chapter or two in "Playing Blackjack To Win by a six Blackjack Hall of Famers. Misc. Surf and Powertool rags from time to time. Looking forward to reading "Dr. Mary's Monkeys"

finished "the long walk", billed as true but a work of fiction, follows a supposed escape from a Gulag and overland escape on foot through the Gobi desert. Good read.

Also read a book about some abortion clinic bomber who evaded the authorities, set off a bomb at the Olympics, and was arrested after the largest manhunt in US history failed to track him down. Any more elaboration would simply glorify a trivial individual. Don't bother.

Reading "fight the wild", true story of an Australian cowboy who gets stuck in the outback for months, dodges crocs & stuff with his dogs and an aluminum boat.

Lame. Never waste your money on that rag again.

I'm reading "Journey To The End Of The Night" BY Louis Ferdinand Celine...
The man is a bit of fascist but seems to hate everyone, so who cares... It is a great dwelling on the human condition during and after wwII, that obviously went on to influence the likes of Vonnegut, Bukowski, Kerouac, Henry Miller and other tough guys.
