Heart-pounding beach break bombs served up like a Brazilian bbq restaurant. You constantly want more so you keep turning your wooden piece upside down, even when you know you shouldn't. Worked.

Rode the blazin' concrete on the trusty skate up and down from south of Birdrock to the Shores. Saw some straight bombs rolling in. The outer reefs were coming alive Fri & Sat!

Holly Sh*t. What a swell that was. caught some of my biggest and longest waves ever. Wild currents on saturday that would sweep you torwards the pier when you kicked out of a 300 yard ride  . Took thurs and fri off work to get some before the weekend craziness. Tudor and his riptastic crew was out the past 5 days dominating.

I wanted to catch the Noseriding comp he put on at the Open this weekend but didn't get around to it. Anybody catch this? With decent swell still in the water I was curious how those guys would fare up there. Did they use PWC assist? :)

Fell against something big in a sandy La Jolla break last night as I didn't pull out fast enough on a closeout...big, firm and fast enough to make me get out of the water. I know it's leopard shark breeding season in the area and that they're harmless but still, this thing had to be at least 6 ft. Homie don't play that.

My bad. Tudor and his crew put on the Corona Noseriding Comp after the heats on Saturday right there at the HB Pier at the US Open. And with every surfer out there utilizing the PWC's to get out of that insane North rip, I'm curious how that went out. The Bu looked absolutely perfect in some shots I've seen over this past swell, glad you scored bud!

Any forum focusing on Cali surf is full of aggro fools claiming or people looking for other people to go surf with. I can't stand aggro surfers and I've got enough friends to surf with already when I want to. Sorry Doc, I just can't seem to leave my NW-internet roots behind me.
