any suggestions of cool little towns to stop in? cheap hotels near hip dives to check out at night? any sweet restaurants or boutiques to try out? any festivals worth sticking round for?

i heard seal rock, cannon beach and astoria were nice; yay or nay?

I'm one of them. There's some good log riding in these parts. I'm almost Canadian -- like 50%. Or did you mean Vancouver WA? In which case I'm 50, 5'9" and weigh 325 lbs.
