Cabo Sans Car

I'm going down to Cabo for a friends wedding in a few days. Because it's a wedding, the surf is ancillary, but it looks like there will be a decent south swell when I'm down there and, well, I'll be damned if I'm not going to surf. So: anyone have any comments on surfing down there using public transportation only? Is it like most central american countries in that they allow most anything on busses? Is the highway close enough to walk from bus to sea? How about the pacific side?
thanks,

Took a bus up to Cerrito to surf on the first day and caught it shoulder high and fun but getting windy. Wound up drinking myself to brokenness most other days and not making out to surf. I'm sure there were no waves anyway...

Yes, yes I did. No sign of Mr. Hagar. Wound up doing safety grinds on a 5 foot tall lesbian. Word of warning: don't go to the "strip club" across the street. Although I do recall that they mix a real stiff Margarita... Good times. Good times.
About as close as I got to real waves:
