I saw an IMAX movie the other day about the Wild Coast of South Africa: basically, every year, the sardine run happens which attracts a lot of predators, namely sharks, seals and dolphins.

So, there is footage of the food ball, and dolphins swimming through it, eating away, and the soundtrack is like Vivaldi's Four Seasons or something.

Cut to the same shot of sharks going through the food ball, exhibiting the same behavior and you get Stravinsky's Right of Spring (which is very dark and disturbing). But what's even worse is that you have all these biologists in the film saying, 'the shark is misunderstood and is being hunted to extinction' but then everytime the film cuts to a shark, it's Da-dunh, Da-dunh, Da-dunh and you can almost hear children screaming.

Sharks get phucking worked in film. Pisses me off.

I don't think I would find a shark show featuring a sound track by Celine Dion or something you might find on a cartoon to be very entertaining.

Besides, sharks sometimes hunt and eat people. Just another pointless crusade. Sure, save them from extinction just like anything else.. but they will are what they are.

Anyways they help keep people out of the water.
