Cool to finally meet Spent and Smithgrind at the secretest of spots....funny and kind of weird that I recognized them from photos posted here. Yikes!

I'm sure they both had a good laugh as I limped along lugging a wagon full of beach toys down the trail with 2 kids in tow.

although it's pretty flat, I had a fun day hanging out on the jetty. Scraped the black wax from my board, dried out my tent, chatted up some folks, had a beer and finished a book... it's only one pm, and I've already done a whole bunch of nothing all day. I could get used to this!

officially unemployed as of today.

fun wedding and associated debauchery and bachanalia on the central coast this weekend.

may even squeeze in a last surf as a local before monday....

here's hoping.

An old colleague called this week and was excited about getting me down to SB for an interview. I thought the pay sounded great until I went on CL to scope rentals...

Camping Fri night at the beach under a bright starlit sky, and waking to clean, windless, OH swell with no fog in sight. Saturday was gorgeous.
