Having a date the same week I get samples of Italian, French and Spanish charcuterie. Talked one out a lobe of grade "A" Foie Gras since I will be ordering it by the 10's of pounds at a time. Nothing like having to decide wether to go with the 1990 Sauternes and focus on the FG or go with the Vega Sicilia "Unico" and attack the rare meats....either way my last day off for the next 3 months......

I dont like the karma in the 'what pisses me off' thread so Im gonna go ahead and post this shat here.

Insurance Companies- As far as I'm concerned, insurance is useless. You pay a monthly amount so in case something happens to your house, apartment, car, motorcycle, expensive toy, or you they are there to fix or replace it. Sounds simple. Wrong. They charge different people different rates. For example, car insurance is much cheaper when you are over 25 and married. That's f*cking stupid. Does being over 25 and married make me more responsible? I think not. I was more responsible when I was 17 than I am now. That aside, what happens if you total out your car for example? The insurance company replaces it for you, right? Not quite. You have to pay your $500 or $1000 deductable. So you pay them thousands of dollars per year, but when you need to use them they point you in the direction of the nearest dick so you can suck it. The worst is when a window breaks on your car. You'd like to use your insurance to get that fixed, but most glass deductables are $500, more than the cost of a window. You might as well pay for it out of pocket. But say the window (for some reason) was more than $500. You pay the insurance company the $500 and they replace the window. Your insurance bill just went up for a year. F*ck insurance companies. They blow. They make want to smash things or slap a small child, Im not sure which.
The service here sucks.

Betty......I feel your pain.

The fun thing that gets me fired up is that all I am doing is paying for the stupidity of others.

Liscensed to drive since I was 16.

Insurance is a racket for sure...

Although I had a homeowners claim that State Farm denied and I fought it...

Hired a lawyer and after about a year...won, lost on appeal, won on my appeal and got about 15k for the expense...

Then said..."and pay my lawyer fees"...they said no...

Kept my lawyer on retainer...he bulldogged them for over a year if I recall correctly...and ended up with about $150k in fees when he won...

I am case law...if you want to read about it (you lawyer types) pm me, I can e-mail you the case...it's famous I guess...when I meet lawyers they're like "That's You?"...

Going to Astoria for lunch.

Cruising up to Cape Disapointment.

Driving down to Cannon to see friend.

At my exit in Cannon seeing about 15 head of Elk laying around in the misty grass next to 101, and not being surprised by it.

I love Oregon.
