Toaster Ovens.

I love toaster ovens. I like sandwiches too, but a sandwich that has toasted bread and melted cheese is always better. You can't do that with just a toaster, and an oven is too big to justify heating up melt cheese on two pieces of bread. I also like taking pieces of bread and putting some tomato sauce on it then covering it with cheese and my favorite toppings. Instant pizza.

The toaster oven is perfect for single guys. With left over pizza I no longer have to heat it in the microwave only to be left with a warm soggy piece of pizza. I stick it into my toaster oven and heat it up with the bottom getting toasted and the toppings warm with melted cheese oozing up between. Mmm...

What's that I have a date? Just stick some garlic into a terra cotta roaster covered in olive oil and slide it into the toaster oven. Easy hor d'oerves.

they are fire hazard though.
mine lit our kitchen up pretty good.

now, the george foreman grill...that's where it's at.
but you gotta remember to unplug it when you're done.
not always easy to do.

stoked --
feeling a light at the end of the tunnel--

Girlfriend got cancer
Looked grim for a while
Treatment's working
Cool scars but no real disfigurement
Teen-aged kids much less self absorbed
Monkeys off backs, all around
Family's tight
Life's starting back up
It feels new

May actually get back in the water soon.
Yup. Stoked.

Surfing summer style waves in the vibrant sun on a February day.

Beers on the beach with friends I haven't seen for awhile.

Paddle back out to evening glass, walking back to the car in the dwindling twilight.
