What pisses me off...........

This forum is for SURF topics such as localism and rants that are usually negative in nature. If you're a baby, complainer, or generally think you're right and everyone else is wrong this is the place for you. PLEASE NOTE, all forum rules still apply, but just a little more liberally enforced. Registration is required.

foriegn cab drivers (or probably any cab driver for that matter) attitude to loading your surfboards on top of their vehicles and the fiberglass crunch sounds when the strap is tightened.

Stop over in LA...
We had to go through that several times in our travels...
2 hour stop over in LA:
1) Get off the plane and take the bus to the terminal
2) go through customs - one time, they had to pull us out of the lineup so we can get everything done and not miss the connecting flight.
3) Collect our bags
4) Drop off our undersized bags in one area
5) Walk our boardbags outside the airport, a few blocks down, back into the airport, over the escalater, around the corner and then drop off the board bags
6) Go through security, take shoes off, etc.. etc..
7) Run to the terminal and hope to whatever is good and holy that we don't miss our connecting flight!
Why do they not have direct flights from here to Auz or from here to Mex? Both times, we had to go through LA... Or do they and we are just idiots and bought the tickets from the airline that has to stop over in LA? ah well... In the end, it all worked out...

.... oh.. and still my damn frigin allergies... It seems to be worst this year than any years in the past..

Being stuck in Stand By Hell at the airport in Houston Tx. after catching a red eye. It's 8AM and I am being told that I will make my destination by 4pm today.

Six hours later and I'm still stuck in Houston. It kinda reminds me of Brohampton except there aren't any waves and it's missing that smell of Gaz and his BenGay.

With all this time on your hands why don't you take a moment and pen a wonderful piece explaining the demise of The Pikeys? Not knowing the true story pisses me off.

When someone paddles up next to you and starts complaining about the crowd, especially when they're old. Shouldn't they know better with all that wisdom?
