Glad we picked the hottest day of the year to start the painting.

Four bedrooms...
A hallway...
and the upstairs..
Familly Room.

All day to tape...
remove doors...
and prime.

Today we might actually...
start painting.

Of course that...
would just mean...
it's time to replace..
15 light fixtures...
6 doors...
and about a million outlets and plates.

Once that is done...
we can get to work.

Funny thing is...
friends...
stopped answering their phones.

i work hard and anxiously await summer, when i get back into a routine of dawn patrols and day after day of surf...good or bad...i've been on a spree...
my wife made me go to a shindig last night that wasn't over 'til after midnight...kids waking at 3am for soymilk meltdown...
so i overslept...
and i know already that the waves likely suck...but that's not the point...
i got up around 8...found a note on the counter that read," my turn. be back in a while."
it's now after ten.
everybody knows the beachbreaks get even better with even more wind.
take your time honey. i'll be pist whenever you get back anyway.
