With all respect lads, that sounds a little pedantic.

Awe come on Neck Deep, dont take it so personaly. Had no reference to your AB3 gig. I'm talking summer scene, you know the one you love to hate. But if thats the way you see it, well I guess raging on heads for snowboarding in the middle of winter would be considered pedantic as well.

OK, sorry dudes, don't mean to de-stoke this thread...
Just let me know if I really had fun waves or not... thanks.
For the record, I didn't surf... well I attempted to Longboard at a beach that was actualy producing rideable waves and it looked like a couple of people were indeed having fun...

Its always bad when I attempt to surf. I think the ocean would be a lot cleaner if I kept my stink in the city.

Gerry Lopez talkng as highly about snowboarding as surfing and making spoirtual references about the two. Him also saying:
"snowboardings more dangerous than surfing cause if you get in trouble in the water you can always take a wave in while with an avalanche there's often no way out unless you get really lucky"

Skateshmate..... Whether he skates or not makes no difference. Besides surfing pipe on a single fin with no leash and pulling into barrels you could drive a truck thru is far more dangerous and interesting. Personally I was surprised by his comment about snowboarding really.
Now back on topic.
Sat morning cycle to my favorite bowls, 4-6 foot and clean.

It makes all the difference in the world. Gerry is simply 'spiritually' inferior until he's slappied a curb in the rain.
Maybe he has. But then he'd understand that enlightenment doesn't come to you on a lift ride up Mt Bachelor.

Skate-boarding is just the poor cousin of surfing, something to do if you can't swim properly. Or have an unnatural fear of the ocean and it's creatures within. Mostly a distraction for pock marked youth in dimly lit countries......
