It always seemed funny to me, those who advocate saving animals are most likely pro-choice and those who eat animals are usually pro-life. Not to spark any debate, just my take.

I believe you mean "those who shoot animals are usually pro life" rather than "eat." I shoot and eat animals and am pro choice. And yes, I have had philosophical problems with being alive and consuming as a human and have decided against offing myself. I justify it by making my decisions about what, how and where I consume as little impact as possible and will hope to teach others the same consciousness, and wait patiently for what us apes call doomsday .

My favorite was when I saw Independance Day in the Theaters about 10 years ago or whenever it was out. The part where the Aliens are kicking @ss and Will Smiths hot stripper wife tries to hide in some broom closet and then her dog barely escapes the destruction while millions of people die and people in the theater cheered and were so happy the dog lived while they didn't give a rat's @ss about the millions of folks who died... I know it's a movie but that about sums it up.

What RJ is advocating is genocide or holocaust. While we don't know if animals feel the spectrum of cognitive emotions and can even comprehend the abstract idea of dying or murder, humans surely can. You make me fuking sick, sick to my stomach.
