Living outside during the winter seems like it would kinda suck. Pre-civilization on Hawaii with surfing would be the penultimate. I'm not sure but didn't surfing come after they had first 'civilized.' Not all civilizations were bad though. Incas were fairly egalitarian and in harmony with their surroundings. Minoans had a good run.

Hey bluecivilservant......

I ask questions expecting to be disagreed with. Hell I sleep expecting to be disagreed with.

You missed the entire point of my opening in this thread.

The point was, the libs were only chapped about WHO was running the country, not HOW it was being ran. I could be wrong, however certain situations still exist under the current admin that prompted daily, if not hourly, angry discord from the left side of life and now that the left is right, everyone turns the other cheek.

But last week my lovely wife rode next to a woman on a flight who held a neatly folded flag in her lap and looked longingly at photos on her iPhone.

I doubt that woman really cares that whomever that flag belonged to died under a Repuke or Libtard admin.

Get it?

Did I spell it out for you clearly enough?

Spell it phonetically. Everyone knows what you're trying to say, but maybe they are sick of talking about it. Obama is not at the very end of his term like Bush was and the next presidential 'hopefuls' sound pretty hopeless themselves. No one will ever be happy with whoever the president is, no matter what they do.

Seems like Obama's turned out to me more of an oil man than Bush was. But Bush was anti-environment anything; while at the least, Obama has rescinded Bushes blanket expose' of pro-developement policy.

You tools are killing me.

It is an attack on those here that made such huge stinks about the wars, environmental issues, etc....and how they have all but rolled over and shut the f@#K up ever since wonder boy was elected.

The issues still exist.

Naw, he's doing pretty well. What's so hypocritical about doing well? You're just not very patriotic are you Wilbur? I think it's time to get a new "support our troops" magnet.

Seem like an Obama/Bush issue to me.
Maybe people feel that because he represents their 'party', he's doing it right even when it doesn't seem so.

Why didn't a lot of Bush supporters break under the weight of his incompetence? Is it because they are idiots? Maybe.
I still hear people talking about how Obama supporters must really be missing Bush right now :D

I wonder if the situation is maybe just a shift of the "issues". My girl quite often gets upset about trying to do the right things in the sense that there are always so many trade offs or what was important gets over shadowed by a new issue. To buy "fair trade" here in the far north of course has consequences like huge carbon foot print and such, but to grow things local here takes a great deal of energy in winter. The point of that is that maybe as you see it that these people just shut up when "their boy" got into office, maybe there are other things that have come to the front and no matter what ones does there is no "correct" or PC way of doing things.
If memory serves me correctly, during campaign time there was much hatred towards the wars and big oil companies and crap. I am sure that if the economy didnt need such a huge bailout, not to mention the automakers, healthcare and so forth, if these things hadnt kind of maybe become priority number one, the crap like wars and pre campaign and campaign time griefs would still be up front.
Compared to the many people having friends/relatives serving abroad in wars, I am sure the economy, unemployment, mortgage issues, health care issues more than likely affect more people directly and perhaps it maybe a general western human cultural thing to take care of oneself first.
The war, the environment,,,, all of that can wait for many Im sure until they can at least get back on their feet again....

Then again, what about those that cried about guns being taken away.... now what do they whine about? They are kind of quiet... but their enemy is still living amongst you and the same leader who was supposedly going to take them away still in office?
