You tools are killing me.
It is an attack on those here that made such huge stinks about the wars, environmental issues, etc....and how they have all but rolled over and shut the f@#K up ever since wonder boy was elected.
The issues still exist.
Why are you not still upset you freakin hypocrites?!?!!
Why are there no longer upset people with banners on the freeway overpasses?
What is to become of those faded and useless bumper stickers all ove rthe backs of your cars now that the sentiments have become stale?
Hell, the only one that has stayed true to form is Plover boy.
I am convinced the rest of you truly did not, and do not, care.
I need a drink.
I wonder if the situation is maybe just a shift of the "issues". My girl quite often gets upset about trying to do the right things in the sense that there are always so many trade offs or what was important gets over shadowed by a new issue. To buy "fair trade" here in the far north of course has consequences like huge carbon foot print and such, but to grow things local here takes a great deal of energy in winter. The point of that is that maybe as you see it that these people just shut up when "their boy" got into office, maybe there are other things that have come to the front and no matter what ones does there is no "correct" or PC way of doing things.
If memory serves me correctly, during campaign time there was much hatred towards the wars and big oil companies and crap. I am sure that if the economy didnt need such a huge bailout, not to mention the automakers, healthcare and so forth, if these things hadnt kind of maybe become priority number one, the crap like wars and pre campaign and campaign time griefs would still be up front.
Compared to the many people having friends/relatives serving abroad in wars, I am sure the economy, unemployment, mortgage issues, health care issues more than likely affect more people directly and perhaps it maybe a general western human cultural thing to take care of oneself first.
The war, the environment,,,, all of that can wait for many Im sure until they can at least get back on their feet again....
Then again, what about those that cried about guns being taken away.... now what do they whine about? They are kind of quiet... but their enemy is still living amongst you and the same leader who was supposedly going to take them away still in office?
