recanting my statement lest it be miscontrued as character assasination. Im just steamed and was wondering what the stink thats starting to rise lately is and if im imagining it and no..im not a kook- ive surfed since i was 7 years old.

i just think the whole bfd and gun thing on the board is something a socal/city beach person would do and as a transplant he should know better than reinforce negative stereotypes and then cover it up as a parody that he is just mocking the whole thing.
The folks down in mission beach do the same crap.

Nothing but respect for Mark and his businesses. We always chat it up when I'm around and he's always been very freindly, informative and willing to make a deal that keeps both sides happy. I've never seen or heard of him acting any way but the way he's always acted since I've known him. In fact I'll probably be buying my next board form him. Maybe you got called a Kook because you are one.

He's called me an A-hole...
Only on occassion...
And not that I can argue...
But seems to me...
There are better places...
To resolve whatever your problems are...
Than on the Internet...
Pretty lame and kook-like...
But then what do I know...
I'm just a dirty so cal trannie myself...
Not a born and bred local like yourself.

No worries man, and the kook comment was intended as tongue-in-cheek.

That don't mean you're not a kook.

But seems to me... There are better places... To resolve whatever your problems are... Than on the Internet...

That makes you a kook.

Virtual high 5 Pra, that was funny.
Don't you know Doc? Virtual reality is, like, the same thing as reality.
Hell go to for instance, the Chicago Craigslist Rants & Raves board.... seems like everyone there has already come to this conclusion. It's pretty dumb, but at least occasionally in there and the Boston R&R board someone posts porn.

Yeah that Mark guy is a clown.
All driving around in those hideous Cannon Beach Surf vans in those clown shorts and cheap harrachi sandals.
And the gun shop...what a tool.

I hate that guy.

Who cares if he is not here bashing anyone the way we bash him?
He's just stupid enough to tell you to your face what he thinks of you...as if he actually would think of you.
What a jerk.

I especially hate how he's always cleaning up trash at Indian and putting out drift fires. Makes people feel like they're doing something stupid or something.

I liked him better when he was a booze sales rep from Seattle.
