Thought for the day.....

I like to fish.
It provides me a certain peace I cannot get in other areas.
Other people like to fish too.
Actually, a lot of other people like to fish.

You would think that with so much water offering so many different fishing scenarios that you could go days, weeks, or even years of fishing without ever seeing another person in the area you are fishing in.

Now some areas are obviously more productive and they get crowded. People will come from all over to fish these locations. Mostly they come to these spots because they do not know any better.

I don't go to those places.

I would rather have a more peaceful and enjoyable time with less people, even if it means less fish.

with a fly rod and a big rooster tail, you can have some excellent catfishing at some of those apartments off of 122nd and Powell. I practice catch and release, but I saw a guy take home a big tabby once.

same here wilb. i know some secret spots--good for fishing too.
