is it just me?

This forum is for SURF topics such as localism and rants that are usually negative in nature. If you're a baby, complainer, or generally think you're right and everyone else is wrong this is the place for you. PLEASE NOTE, all forum rules still apply, but just a little more liberally enforced. Registration is required.

They hate to love you and that makes 'em crazy enough to love you and then they hate......cycles, cycles. The crazy thing is how easy we are to get along with! Go ahead girls let us know what you think...

what you just said, gaz.. was so true. Always with the back and forth decisions. ... making huge deals out of spilled milk (small crap).
she especially hates it when shes mad at something, ignoring me and being bitchy.. but i just pretend like i don't notice and talk to her as if nothings wrong.
whatever.. when she's not putting out i have a couple strong hands and plenty of lube

Screw the boyfriend/girlfriend crap. Waste of time. Friends with benifits is all I need. Oh and if they did surf thats cool. So screwin and surfin, ya its all good.

But if i'm out there I'm alone. NO teaching,NO talking. Just peace and the sound of a beautiful wave about to crest over me while I paddle for this suculant form of water. As I slowly bomb drop the side of the face as it trys and surpass our skys limit, as if it were to say the lord is my shepard and thou shall not take me for granted I am all that is Earth. Then to snap out of its foolishness and come to realize I'm along for the ride. It curves as if a detour across the Burnside bridge to fold over and catch me in its grasp with a huge sounding (BOOOOMM!) but before its to late and as soon as it thinks its over and I'm done with. I shoot out the side with both of my hands in front of me as if I were to open a showery curtin of white wash back into reality.
So's to slowly feel I concored somthing I just float over whats left of this monstrosity, somthing more of a hump. Sure as can be and ready for more.

From my experience, you can’t really talk about surfing and the passion you have for it to a non surfer. All they can ever think of it is as a sport or something to do. If you live and breathe surfing, I think it’s best to not get into detail too much with someone who could never understand why you get up before light and go into the ocean filled with death and deadly things (in their opinion). I don’t think you can really explain the rush of a late drop, a hard cranking bottom turn and flying down the line while dragging your inside hand along the face of the wave to someone who will never experience that feeling. It’s easier to describe a color or the taste of a certain food.

surfing is my theropy
she stops me from going and I start snapping
loose loose situation for both of us
when I miss swell its like I'm missing a part of my life
shes learning to not try and stand in the way of that
I understand her getting suspicious at times that I'm up to something else when I leave at dark come home at dark and my suits still dry but it's all part of learning this coast with no help from the osper's Thanks!
