What stoketh thee...

This forum is for SURF topics such as localism and rants that are usually negative in nature. If you're a baby, complainer, or generally think you're right and everyone else is wrong this is the place for you. PLEASE NOTE, all forum rules still apply, but just a little more liberally enforced. Registration is required.

Sitting out back on a day with fat swell and floating up and over the crest of a rolling wave, then watching the shoreline drop out of sight behind it.

That gives me stoke.

all of that, but as you're paddling out you see one of your mates paddling for that wave and once you get over it, you look at the back of the wave and nothing...nothing...nothing...and then see his or her head pop up over the or you see their board take slash...and you know that your friend got a good one.

Packing the truck with wetsuits, boards, jug wine, a tent, dive gear, a guitar, and a California road map.

Anticipation of stargazing through redwood canopies.

Hope that the Trader Joes to the south still has cheap whiskey.

See ya'all phuckers in a week or so.

Wake up early and plant all the goodies still sitting in their pots, tear down that needless woven wire fence, been putin it off since last summer. Momma gets the little guy when he wakes up crying from his nap. Wiping the sweat from my brow I inform Momma, through the baby's sliding door, that we're going to the beach. Pack up and gone for a fun day.
