But for what it is worth, based on the what passes for a surfer amidst the OSP crew, I seriously doubt I ever was one, or will ever aspire to be one.

I guess being responsible or not inheriting a large trust fund prevents me from being a real surfer.

As far as being pissed off and posing goes, got static over the trip to CA, so I said ok, we go nowhere.

Its the biggest issue here, posers, guys who may have surfed this month, maybe not. Then, because they dont get to surf much, they get bent outta shape about those who have the nerve to not only surf but then post about it.
Then, the valley gets hotter than shite, so the posers are not only mad about others getting waves, now they are melting.
Crackerheads are here, they hate.
Look at eastside, he hates because he thinks anyone who doesnt like contests is a kook. WTF?
So the little crackerhead (who is Hawaiian BTW...lol) yells from his little street corner in Corvallis..."Kooks!"

It boils down to just that though, who is surfing and who just shows up here at the osp because they found a place that will let them hang if they pose hard enough.
