Art fills the void...

Been on a Massive Attack kick lately. Mezzanine is such a great pre/post surf album.

Got curious if MA still tours and not only do they, but they're playing a run of shows on the west coast next month. Not in Portland though, because of course not

I saw Massive Attack during the heyday in the late 90s, in Cardiff Wales...

Massive sound system. Horace Andy on Vocals... transcendental...

I never tire of Blue Lines or the remix of Protection (No Protection) by Mad Professor.

Sounds right on. Plus you can say that you saw them before they were banksy.

Proud of the kids these days for embracing Steely Dan's unique brand of sardonic jazz pop. More of a "Royal Scam" guy myself, but have been listening to the 80's cuts-- "Gaucho" and "The Nightfly" which provided awesome soundtrack to relapse* to, as well as plenty of entertainment while liberating an old Yater Spoon from several layers of spray paint over the summer. Board and I are once again clean, but SD remains in heavy rotation.
