and neither was St Patrick. Don't be a tosspot. Wear green and drink stout everyday, Yankie.

St Patrick was an ex-slave, Welshman who converted salt-of-the earth Pagans into Chrisitians. I'm not celebrating such twatishness.

By the way, if ever given the opportunity, avoid this alcoholic shot because you will in fact be tasting it the next morning along with whatever else you had the previous day.

Thanksgiving
St. Patrick's Day
4th of July
My Birthday
Your Birthday

Any day that can be celebrated and only satisfied with mass consumption of alcohol is worth celebrating. The true spirit of holidays is not in the origin, but the colloquial conversion of holidays suited to whatever region it is celebrated in. For instance, I'll be celebrating Passover with Mai Thai's and Red-beers.

Christmas...
Hanuka...
Groundhogs Day...
National Secretary Appreciation Day...
Daylight Savings...

Every holiday seems to have an applicable beer of color, taste or manufacturer location to suit the holidays' personality and time of year. What do you drink on Martin Luther King Day?

When I lived in Atlanta I knew some guys that would celebrate MLK day by drinking 40's of malt liquor. They called it the Malt Liquor Knockout. They were your basic white southern types. Every October they also went into downtown Atl with high powered pellet guns and gardening gloves and held a competition called the Hunt for Rat October.

Of all the amateur nights, I hate St. Pat's Day the most. Seems to bring out the most obnoxious "I'm so drunk" posers.
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- 'WOW, what a ride!!!'"
