yeah, I said that too when I saw some "portlander" wearing shorts and 'stocks n' sox while it was snowing heavily.

That was within a month of moving here 17 years ago. You're a west coast boy, prag..you ain't leaving!

What's wrong with wearing shorts and 'stocks n' sox? That just seems sensible.

I definitely love the freezing fickle gun metal gray part of the West Coast. Just need a little bit more west to actually get to the coast part.

We're going to need to balance this Portlandia crap. This now defunct website has it right.

Portlandia in IFC could be really good. Starts in January......

Unfortunately, the dream died in the 90's. That's when you could afford to retire in Portland. Nowadays you need to have a j-o-b.

Portland? Dream of the 90’s? Nah. Not for me at least. Poofland had nothing to do with my dream of the 90’s. It was more a convoluted and delusional dream of the mid millennium that’s slowly turned into a reoccurring nightmare.

Really? a little bird told me you were the dude in the speedo, leather jacket and beard who claims "where the tattoo ink never runs dry". Sounds like you're living the dream, bro!!

Watched it last night. It was pretty funny, not sure if anyone not from the NW would think it was as funny. Best Quote " Where young people go to retire." The old lady in the library was the best part.

Killer vid Dano.

As towns go, you could do worse than Portland. I wouldn't live there, but you could do worse.
