Do you party or what?

Okay....

I have become ....separated...from the Republican Party.
I would say disenchanted however, I was never really enchanted anyway. Just more annoyed by the lefty's than anything else. recently I have put a lot of thought into it, watched, and listened. And in the end I can honestly say they do not represent me nor I them.

I am leaning toward the Libertarian Party, though I am a bit sketched out by their idea of reducing/ending welfare prgrams in favor of 'supportive familly' or 'churches' taking up the slack.

So what party are you, and why?

libertarinism is a noble goal. perhaps the only goal worth pursuing. however, i believe most people who talk about libertarianism in this day and age are talking about the strain that is associated with largely right-wing/ free market capitlistism and neglecting the libertarian communism tradition (anarchist). i share many core believs with libertarians but do not belive it is worth pursuing in this current socio-economic arrangement. for libertarisnism to work, we'd need massive decentralization of power, towards more managable autonomous and self-sustaining communities, which is currently a pipe dream. given what we have to work with, i remain an impotent leftist until enough people are fed up with this ridiculous system and can begin to start thinking outside the box. as for parties, i wouldn't vote, even if i could.

Democrat. In the land of the free and endless choices there are really only two options to party and neither is all that appealing.

Dems are fuking wussies that are pissing away everything the party ever stood for. Republicans are just plain ignorant.
And yes I voted for Nader in 2000. Gore is a little bitch.

Not really, I was living in Texas at the time, my district was 100% Bush in 2001.

I think what he means is any vote for Nader was a vote for Bush...
With which I'd have to concur...
Not that I don't understand the sentiment...
Just think 8 years under Gore...
Might have been better...
I did say might have been.

I got that sentiment from my whole family and a lot of friends.

I cant give my vote to a candidate I don't think represents the best interest of our country to keep the R's from winning.

Never have, never will.

I find myself being the opposite of whatever party is dominant in the state I'm living in at the time. The flaws in party ideology become apparent when they are put in practice.
