Post 2024 Election

Well, the election happened.
I was generally hoping for a decisive win - one way or the other. And looks like Trump got the popular and electoral win.
I'm not throwing victory parties by any stretch of the imagination, I am also not going to say the end of the world as we know it is upon us. Generally, trying to process it all on my own terms versus absorbing volumes of data online, telling me what to think and how to feel. Posted on the Sobriety thread that I am, for all intents and purposes, doing a media blackout...and it feels good. During the last Trump Administration, I was glued to the news outlets every day, waiting for something to blow up. I simply can't do that again for the next 4 years. NO WAY. So almost a week in, just trying to be a solid citizen, a nice neighbor, a good dad, loving husband. Control what I can, send good karma out into the universe.

Might be too soon for the OSP to cover this topic, its all good, I get it.

Still on the media blackout....no news, pretty much zero tv, an occasional Kraken game but dropped out of the NFL mid year. Cancelled my 10 year subscription to the Seattle Times. ZERO instagram or YouTube. OSP and Linked In remain my last to social media endeavors. Freedom, kinda feels good.
