I'm listening to a plethora of porno music including songs from various decades. Such songs as "500 dollah" and "p****-whipper" are included in this extravaganza.

The garage flaunting it's messiness.
The lawn growing ever so slightly more.
The crackle of the tobacco in the ashtray.
The settling of the ice in my drink.
The calling of the Coho fillet in the fridge.

you must've been listening to KYTE fm.

"Ok, that was another great one from Boz Scaggs. Before that Annie Lennox, Sugarloaf, and Willie Nelson started us off. It's half past the hour and we're looking at partly cloudy skies with a chance of drizzle, wind 15 to 20 miles per hour, increasing this afternoon. Coming up after a short commercial break, Van Halen, 10cc, Pablo Cruise, and Avril LaVigne...KYTE, we play the hits!"

I have always attributed growing up as a punk and surf grom in So.Cal. during the 70's and early 80's to my not minding getting hit in the face!
