Should I take it?

Yes, this is a surfpage, but many of us like to discuss non-surf related issues amongst fellow surfers. Here's the place to do it. Registration is required.

I got offered the Oregon Dunes job today. Unfortunatly I wanted the Cape job so I turned it down and I am going to sit tight for the summer working only 4 days a week. Oh well that leaves 3 days a week for everything else.

You should have taken it.

Gov jobs are 3% education, 2% ability, 45% who you know, and 50% bieng inside.

Once you are in...you have the ability to move and pick and choose...but not until you get in.

You did the right thing. You at least made a choice. Dont listen to these guys. Hell one hasnt even found a job at the coast yet
3 days a week free to do whatever, surf perhaps, is more than most get.
