Yesterday when I went into work my office manager was way too excited about the possibility of me moving on. Not the miss you kind of excited. Sheez and I work my tail of at work. Yesterday I had to go through a 4300 address mailing list.

I got offered the Oregon Dunes job today. Unfortunatly I wanted the Cape job so I turned it down and I am going to sit tight for the summer working only 4 days a week. Oh well that leaves 3 days a week for everything else.

You should have taken it.

Gov jobs are 3% education, 2% ability, 45% who you know, and 50% bieng inside.

Once you are in...you have the ability to move and pick and choose...but not until you get in.

You did the right thing. You at least made a choice. Dont listen to these guys. Hell one hasnt even found a job at the coast yet
3 days a week free to do whatever, surf perhaps, is more than most get.
