Ive had several artist draw up my vision over the last few years and finally found one I want to roll with.

Its huge. It would go across my upper back, back of my neck, cover my right shoulder and half way down my arm.

Ive wanted this thing for years, Ive had dreams of it. BUT....Im a girl.

Id like a little perspective from some manz.

What do you you guys think? Woman with tattoos, bad or good.

I use henna on Crystal, she wants a full back with vines, etc but with Henna, we get to change things up.
If you never have to apply for a job again-wait, in your line of work I think a tat is a good sign...what a tough guy...

Normally I would agree with you when it comes to the lameness of people's idea of "individuality". However, when it comes to getting inked there are a few schools of thought.

One is the hip, idiotic, "I do it because it is hip and now" mentality. The reason that there is so much Flash work on the smalls of the backs of so many women, and lame flash tribal bands on the arms of aging men.

The other is someone who is truly into the art of it all. the pain. the creation. The beauty.

I have four pieces on me currently, and would love to get a lot more.

Each one carries significant meaning to me.

I love the creative process. Only one of my pieces is flash work. and I got it many years ago when I was 17 and in the Army. I have considered having it covered up as it is not really good work, but I can;t do it. It is a piece in my personal Totem Pole. My story. My history.

To Blondies question, in my personal opinion...being into tattoo work is the hottest thing a woman can be. Second only to intelligent.

The more ink, the more personalized, the more meaningful, the better.

And I am of an oposite opinion of Gaz....small or big...are excellent, but if I had to choose..I would go big.
