What are the dimensions? Any bottom contours?

I've made about 8 of them and my favorite is 19.5" x 9.25 x 3/8", pintail. I've made fish tail and square also and like this one best when it's hollow. Let me know how the finger holds go. I use a nylon webbing strap so my hand is flat on the handplane, which seems more natural for paddling. You can really fly down the wave with them, have fun!

Seems like those finger sized holes might be a good way to break a finger? Just a thought...

Just carved a quiver of hand planes for an upcoming trip to warm water w/ friends. Figure we can pass them around for another way to fark around in the shorepound. The bigguy stinger still needs a handle. THink I'm going to use a retired kiteboard footstrap that I have yet to track down.
