Quad/ Thruster Convert

Damn, I'm wasting my time actually posting about surfing these days....

anyway...

Thinking of converting one of my boards into a five fin box quad/ thruster convert.

From what I understand from articles written by Rusty and McKee, perfomance (ie not fishy) Quads work best when the fins start from a thruster frame work. So the front fins don't need to be changed and you can just add two rears...

anyone done this or have a five fin box- convert? how were the results? when do you ride what set up?

Rusty is shaping me one of these right now in a 6'6" PU.
Not a convert but on the topic still. People like to talk chit about all the fin boxes but it's not an issue at all unless of course your board is heavy and rides like crap anyways. then yes blame it on all the fin boxes. Having the option is great. Nothing but positive feedback.

It's too much an even number for an odd sort of person.
