Overall process was best I've done yet. Very stoked on this board. Wish I could keep it. I feel like i'm giving birth to children and having to see them off to college. That's how sad I get. is that weird?

Your boards are looking better and better. Going past some of the backtard shapers on here like a sprinter!! Good work.

My Uncle was talking story once to me & my brother...

I said, "How long is that board?" pointing to one in the rafters...
"14 foot" he answered. Then he went on to say...
"I shaped it and surfed it...it was unreal...so stoked."
"Then I sold it to him. I was so bummed...I couldn't get stoked".
"So I bought it back from him for $300 more and a new board".
"I got the board back...and I got my stoke back...totally worth it!"
My uncle isn't the most shrewd business man...good surfer &shaper tho.

Nope, i finished it 3 months ago, and it's still sitting in my living room waiting for the owner to come pick it up.

Maybe I'll just tell the guy if he doesn't come the next time i surf, i'm taking it out for a "test" ride. :\

As a shaper (and I'm not one)...
I would presume it's pretty key to ride the boards you shape in order to determine what each shape's tendencies are and hopefully refine, eliminate or enhance aspects the you do or don't like.

If he'd make more boards for doc, then he'd get a better review...

Surf the boards you shape. If a customer gets mad at that, then they've got issues.....
