Paying what will (hopefully be) my last rent payment ever, and turning in my 30 day notice to vacate.

Wouldn't that be both?
What stoked me out last night was:
Taking J to a flick downtown (Young at Heart...GO SEE THIS MOVIE!)
Scoring a sweet on-street spot a block away form the theatre right in the middle of the hordes showing up for the Starlight Parade.
Buttered popcorn.
Watch a bit of the parade after the flick.
The cops actually letting me turn around and drive the wrong way on a one-way which allowed us to avoid a 40+ minute excersise in anguish sitting in traffic.
Late happy hour at Chez Jose.

looking at the Oregon forecast for the next week and seeing 2' and then smiling knowing I'm heading to tropical waters for 2 weeks where the report has been 5' @ 16 seconds for the last few days and looks that way for a upcoming week, I say this because this year has sucked for me in many ways and I've payed a lot of dues

You could tell us where you are headed, it's not spot naming if we aren't going along too.......

Ceedog, sorry to hear about your poison oak that stuff sucks I had it last year. I was just worried about the oil (urushiol) getting into my wetsuit and not coming out. The saltwater dries it out I'm sure.
As far as the spot goes, Costa Rica.
Looked at the webcam of PC this morning and couldn't decide if it was the wrong cam since it looked like a lake not the Pacific Ocean. That is probably the flattest I have seen it (must be between sets hahaha, or the calm before the storm, I actually hope so I hate to see any of my bros go without waves, not a player hater).

Good weekend. 3rd row Rush seats at the Gorge Saturday night, crashing like old people by midnight while the party raged around us...up by 7 am Sunday hunting for waffles, ending up blowing up the matress and laying in the sun next to the river in Leavenworth for 4 hours with the Sergeant throwing rocks at a log. Spending time with people you dont feel like you have to constantly have dialog with and entertain...just chillen quietly. Love it.
But....quiet times over....time to make some noise.... Iron Maiden tonight at White river. Teaching the fetus to rock!
The service here sucks.

Not driving or been in a car for over a week now. Haven't paid $4+ a gallon for gas yet and having 2 tanks about filled from back when it was $3.80. What a great time to be fully localized, well except for surf, but don't think I've missed a thing in the last week or so and if I have, not really sweating it.

despite the various reports...you aren't missing anything...at all...and that's the truth. it's beyond flat. flatter than yesterday. which was flatter than the day before. which in my opinion was barely at all surfable. and so i didn't. and that means something.
(oh-my bad-this is the stoked thread. the waves lately are un-stoking)

Better use that gas up quick and start buying the new, more expensite stuff before yours goes bad!
