What stoketh thee...

This forum is for SURF topics such as localism and rants that are usually negative in nature. If you're a baby, complainer, or generally think you're right and everyone else is wrong this is the place for you. PLEASE NOTE, all forum rules still apply, but just a little more liberally enforced. Registration is required.

Warm peaceful days at the coast, kids playing in the sand, wife actually going in the water, oh and surfing too.

After complaining about being stuck at work, I get this page from the boss,"go to lunch and come back tomorrow."

I went on vacation over by Christmas Valley/Abert Rim/Fort Rock. I put about 1000 miles on the truck, and half of those miles were unpaved or areas with "4wd" roads. I saw antelope, coyotes, deer, jackrabbits, snakes, lizards, hawks, and few other people besides my wife and girls, and woman operating a fire lookout. I completed another one of my summer goals, succesfully shooting a 50 gallon drum at 1000 yds several times with two different calibers. We saw five new lava tubes, countless rock formations, had 5 starry nights under the desert sky, several new lakes and rivers, abandoned buildings and homesteads, and met up with my brother for part of the trip. We got back dusty, broke, and torn up, and everybody was sorry the trip was over.

The "mark all topics read" icon at the top righthand of the page, just came in handy in the Off-topic section!

Gazza

You seem easily stoked...

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I got two Russian ones. Paid $175 for the first and inherited the second. Fun shooters. One of mine occationally goes fully auto for no apparent reason. Can be exciting if I have the 30 round clip on.
