What pisses me off...........

This forum is for SURF topics such as localism and rants that are usually negative in nature. If you're a baby, complainer, or generally think you're right and everyone else is wrong this is the place for you. PLEASE NOTE, all forum rules still apply, but just a little more liberally enforced. Registration is required.

Does Pedro post on the OSP?

I've had mostly a different experience with Latino employees in restaurant settings...

And let me make a distinction...

Those raised in the US & those that immigrated to the US...

The former have been problem employees at about the same rate as ny other...

The latter have been largely great, willing to work hard and despite language difficulties making efforts to to communicate...

Of course their SSI never matches up and I have to let them go after 90 days...

So the end result is often the same.

surfing a reef for years and years never with any threat of company.
now all that has changed. nine new faces, and they all knew eachother.

They were probably from Bend.

Actually now that I think about it.
Those guys only surf PC and don't have the creativity to surf anywhere else.

Maybe they were from Salem.

Oh wait. Same as above applies.

I don't know Griz.

I'm fresh out of guesses.

wherever they're from, i wish they'd go back and stay there.
guess i shoulda mentioned, not only did they travel in group formation, but they also had a camera man perched on the bluff. i didn't see him, and maybe it's a good thing. why they gotta be like that?! why can't people just go alone or with one bro/sis and leave the camera at home?
surfing sure has changed in my short lifetime.

When I go surfing the wife and I bring a little 5MP family digital. The pictures are 90% me drinking beer in the sand, 5% anonymous ocean beach and 5% my wifes azz. Rarely a pic of anyone on a board, but i think I have 2 or 3 somewhere.

i assure you, the 5% of your wife is probably the best you've got.

but really. i mean, i take pictures too. and i go places with maybe more than one friend sometimes...not often, but sometimes...and if there's people in the water and it's kinda a hush hush spot, we know better than to all go out at once. it's just courtesy. some spots of course, i guess anything goes...
and i like to get shots of what i surfed too, but i'm not posting all around the web trying to show how cool i am that i got these epic (or lame) waves and how core i am that i know these places and whatnot.

these days your secret discovery is on you tube before you even get home.

Wow! I feel your pain. Was in the same situation about 10 years ago minus 6 guys. But they were pro bros and teh potog never surfed.

Bummer, was it even that good to warrant a photo session?

Can I go home yet?
I am starting to hate this place already....
Yeah a few good moments but well, fugk it.
One clean big surfable swell and I might just call it game over.
