A day's Canoe on the S. Fork of the Stillaguamish. Fun class II water. Drank Rainier beer, swam in perfect swimming holes, found one of the best diving rocks I've ever seen/dove off of, and dumped the canoe (I take the blame) when trying to boat under a small waterfall. Ended the day with a 13 mile bike back up river to get the car as the sun set. Then hauled back to canada.
As tippy quotes, rincon is where you find it.

The closest thing I've seen to Rincon in about 3 weeks or whenever that south swell was, is a dude at Shorties in a Channel Islands T-shirt.

Burnside for breakfast. Just me, the pigeons and a big cup of joe. It is like going to church and some of you sinners need to come and get some redemption. I praised the sweet lord Skatan for providing with me with such workable concrete curves this day. On my knees in pigeon shite, after months of neglecting this holy site, I soon found my old lines and a few new ones. Sweating and covered in filth before 9am but holding onto the still feeling of weightlessness of tat can only come from riding vertical on the pillars that hold up the bridge that divides this town on so many levels. Came home to top up the Stumptown and listen to some Tragedy. After nearly 10 years, I finally think I'm a Portlander.
Rincon is where you find it and so forth....

By the way, did you enjoy the PBR offering I left in the peanut gallery?

muchos gracias, but all the peanuts shelled and split by the time I got back to my ride. I still have 3 of them sitting in my valley fridge... can't wait to get home and swill one down for dinner.
