I can barely stomach going to the movies anymore. Its all violence, and predicted programming. Seems like we're paying for our own brainwashing. Saw Zombieland the other day and thought it was cleverly done except for the plot.

i have wanted to see zombieland since I saw the first trailer months ago. mrs stiffler wanted to go see it with me, and when I finally got childcare lined up, lo and behold, it wasn't playing on the coast anymore. I would've had to drive all the way to Eugene or Corvallis to see it. Bummer.

Year One. Pretty stupid with a couple of amusing moments.

GI Joe was horrible even while enebriated with substances known by the state of California to cause birth defects and lowered sperm count.

Year One was great, I thought. They were basically making fun of every religion.

Come on people! Stop trying to find intellect in every movie, some are pure comedy with nothing useful to learn.

Full Moon. It's an East Coast surf vid from the Jersey area. No waves bigger than oh but it got me super stoked. Good Soundtrack to. Horrible, horrible surfer acting also made it better.

Zombieland. Currently playing at the Kennedy and Mission. Highly recommended for those that enjoy a brew, a smoke and a laugh.

saw Z-Land this weekend at the Baghdad. Burgers arrived just as a woman flew through the windshield and her head smacked the pavement.

went to a showing of "Badlands" at the local grange.

very well made for a first movie, disturbing but done in good taste...martin sheen, sissy spacek in 1972...excellent acting and superb directing/filmaking in general, nice to see it on a larger screen with the neighbors.

just got "Deliverance" from netflix....:)
