PORTLAND, Ore. -- A 19-year-old skateboarder died from a head injury in a fall on a steep hill on Bull Mountain Friday.

Washington County deputies said just before 7 p.m. medics found neighbors doing CPR on Henry Langhaim on SW Autumnview Street.

Investigators said it appeared that Langhaim was going down a hill and lost a wheel, then crashed into the sidewalk. He was not wearing a helmet.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

i swear to the sweet baby lord jesus i was wearing full pads and a helmet for 99% of the time i was there. believe me, i'm done with head injuries. i've been taking it really easy and playing it safe since i cracked my skull. i even had a conversation with an italian grandfather about why i was wearing full pads. he planned to get his grandson some knee pads afterwards. i told him pads and helmets were wise but should be choice for a adult.

bummer about that young man. i'm guessing he was downhilling at an obscene speed.

Getting to drive a Dodge Charger. Unfortunately it was for about 1/2 mile in 25mph zone (Not that i would speed or anything). What does you company have in your motorpool? That was way better than the minivan. Now I understand why they choose them for police cars.

Was offered a kind of lateral career move out of the blue yesterday. Maybe maybe not. But it's good to be needed in this economy.

Dear Mr. gnarliest and rippenist surfer in the mathematics program,

I found an error in my spreadsheet recording the accomplishments
of my Advanced Linear Algebra students. For you, this means that
you made a C- (barely) rather than a D+ .

I will submit the appropriate form to change your grade to "Pass".
I need the chairman's signature and the process may take a week
till it shows on your transcript.

Sorry for the error and the unneccessary worry I may have caused you.
Wishing you a pleasant spring break,

Which translates to
Dear Mr. gnarliest and rippenist surfer in the mathematics program,
You don't have to pay back over a grand to the financial aid department
