Anybody besides me want to admit to watching this last night? I tuned in at 11:30 telling myself that I'd just watch the first four heats. I couldn't stop watching and was up until the fat lady sang. Some mind blowing surfing went down in huge conditions with Kelly dominating until the last heat. Barrel riding trumps little techie airs any day in my opinion.

Yeah, that was amazing. Totally blew away the announcer, Peter Mel. He was calling the wave as the camera followed it down the line after everyone else had given up on seeing him come out. With no Slater in sight he said "If he comes out of that I'm going to lose it." 1/2 second later he did. And everyone lost it.
