super scared! I'd get smoked! I think I scared some old people at my pool the other day with my tattoos- I sorta felt bad. They are not offensive at all, just rather large. Old guys always ask if I'm in the Navy! There are all these comp. swimmers training there, so I already feel like a joke in my trunks. They all seem cool though- I tell them I'm training too! for something a little different! None of them surf, but i know any of them could paddle to Alaska and handle a serious holddown if needed. Another " tribe " indeed.

Monday Morning @ss kicker.......

25 yard pool

warm up: 200s/200 IM reverse/200k/300s

4x125 @ 1:50 (last 25 of each = fly)

3 x 600 (broken down - 1 min rest b/ each 600): 200 @ 2:40, 4x100 @ 1:20; rest; 300 @ 4:00, 3x100 @ 1:15; rest; 400 @ 5:20, 2x100 @ 1:10.

300 ez

5x50 drill (scull down, ez free back)

100 ez

Total = 3850 yards

FYI......I hit the wall on the last 600. I miss-counted on my 400 and threw off my rhythm.......wasn't able to hold the 1:10s. (You only have to make one.)

Yes........this morning I got my @ss kicked.

fitness and nutrition huh. Well every morning I do 40-50 push ups and increace 5 a day. Then I do crunches about 30 and add increase five a day. Then I'll do some crunches with a 25 lb bar bell, about 30- 3 diffrent ways. Then every other day I run a mile or 2 miles. When I get warmed up to surf, I just stretch every ligament in my body or well I try to. Then run for the water. Food wise, stay away from candy, pop and all fast food. I definetly drink a gallon of water a day. I usually carry it every where with me. As for bad habbits I drink beer but we all love beer so I'll leave him alone, I've decided to quite smokin weed till my b-day and see how I feel about it when that day comes around. I haven't smoked for 1 weeks. who my kinding like thats gonna last :lol: :lol:

I read NMM's workouts, get sweaty, feel tired, take a shower and grab a beverage! Some of the healthiest exercise and lowest impact I have ever had to endure, just wish the belly roll would get the message!

There are old ladies at my pool that swim soooo fast..... I swear they have outboard motors hooked to their a$$. Nothing like getting out paddled by a 70 year-old in a shower cap!

Did you just say you like to get paddled by 70 year olds in shower caps?
