Mine's tearing (at the seams across the chest)..........only a year-and-a-half old. Anybody else have this prob?
Dub Star wrote:Thu.... just go down to the Rip Curl outlet and get yourself a 5/3 then. 2 weeks ago I saw several fire skins for $100. Hard to beat that price, but I wouldn’t pay any more for a Rip Curl as they tend to fall apart quickly as we have heard.
If durability is a concern, Hotline by far makes the most durable suits out there, but they tend to be a little stiffer than some of the other brands. Their 5 mill booties are the best. Been wearing them for over 10 years or more and they are perfect for PNW surfing. While I love Xcel suits, I tried their booties once and they fell apart with in a year. Pieces of chit.

No man I said head down, San Clemente. Was in SD 2 weeks ago. Had fun, but don't miss it.Oddly enough, there's one in Vegas.....
Well, there is a high demand for rubber in that town.
If I were a wetsuit I'd rub your dainty bum too --- bikini bottoms or nofreckleface wrote:I can't believe anyone is actually wearing a 3/2! Yowzahs!
My 5/4 Rip Curl was nice and flexible, but flushed out easily and also ripped. Its my loaner suit now. I take friends out surfing, but give them a ripped suit and they never go again
I have a 5/4/3 Hotline, and it is warm and durable, but sort of like a straight jacket. Also it felt a little tighter after not wearing it for a year--must be shrinking
It also rubs my dainty bum if I don't wear bikini bottoms underneath.
