What are you listening to right now?

Yes, this is a surfpage, but many of us like to discuss non-surf related issues amongst fellow surfers. Here's the place to do it. Registration is required.

The sad thing is they have realized there is a market for us. I mean, who listens to this station now? We are the demographic. Which means they realized we have stable incomes with disposable income. Which of course means we are older than we once were.

Classic Rock stations are becoming the Oldie stations.

To put it in simple terms, I was going through a stack of vinyls and Wilburette states plainly "Wow. CD's used to be really big."

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- 'WOW, what a ride!!!'"

everybodies got some bands that they got so into they can hardly tolerate one song anymore. I pretty much OD'ed on floyd and many others, but perhaps none so solidly as the doors. For years, song after song, sickening.
But theres one album after all this time...
