Agreed. The rasp and pain in his voice when he sings, "I cut myself today..." I think Johnny's is better than the original, but I've been a Cash fan my entire life.

I saw John Cash play at Alpenrose Dairy...of all places.

With his wife June...probably about 1990.

I was..."wtf? Johnny Cash? Alpenrose Dairy?"

Got my tickets...it was real...not a dream...

And about as rare as waves breaking below my house...
