This has been working out pretty good so far. Plenty of excitement and keeps you in good mental shape too. I feel that I am making quicker mental decisions as well as physical (by reaching forward like paddling). We kinda changed it up a little and use now use bigger glass mugs as it's more weight but all in all I would say this is a pretty good routine and you pretty much have it all right here with the exception of cardio which we have compensated for in other ways, ie. store runs and stuff...........

You think I can do 18 lengths of continous butterfly??? Forget it.

Oh, and BTW, that's over two miles. Do you swim that far when you work out? Mile and half is like my max usually.

Yes....gillsy....I swim that far when I work out. That was Monday's lunch time workout.

And....I only meant to suggest the fly sets for you...not the entire workout.

So, since I'm dropping down to a 7'4 (i know this is laughable to many of you, but I am a BIG guy), I've been working on getting back to my 'hotubbing weight' as RV says.

This has been what I'm up to a week--

4 swims. Two one mile days, two mile and half days.
2 runs-- five to six miles each, always on dirt, usually mud (the knees).
2 yoga classes-- ouch.

Hike on Sunday. Surf monday/tuesday (usually).

In order to have a rest day a week, I've been doubling up on days.

Down ten pounds with 30 to go. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully I'll be able to take Sooloo in an arm wrestle by April. Then we move onto an ultimate fighting championship with Spider...or maybe I'll just drink beer while Sooloo and Spider fight.

Oh, and to whoever the dickface who stunk eye me for surfing with a belly at Sea___, whilst eating a Big Mac, let me tell you this--- some of us gave up Big Macs long ago and fight our design like hell to be able to catch waves. And remember, inside this cooler IS a six pack, so if you want to throw down...you'll be surprised by this fat boy.

Hey.......who gave you the key to my workout manual?

Don't forget gills.....you'll add some muscle weight to that 30lb ratio.

Also....while I'm a big proponent of daily doubles....be careful. You're treading into an area that doesn't abide by the "no pain no gain" mantra. Pay close attention to what your body is telling you. It's easy to "muscle" your way through a workout when you're in pain.....but you'll pay for it later. In spades. Thrashed shoulders. Wrecked knees. On down the list....
